NATURALIA - MULTISENSORY JOURNEY

‘Naturalia - Multisensory Journey’ is born from the experience, imagination, and personal approach of multimedia

textile artist Margherita Pandolfini. Through art, Margherita channels her hypersensitivity, transforming emotions

and perceptions into a profound and meaningful creative process.

Over time, she observed how this artistic journey had a therapeutic effect, as her approach has always focused more

on the creative experience rather than the final result. Thanks to her experience in textile workshops and teaching,

she found serenity and fulfillment, noticing the same effect in the participants of her workshops: a moment of

pleasure, escape, and self-connection.

From this awareness, the desire to share and transmit the project was born, offering everyone the chance to

experience its benefits. Naturalia is a flexible and adaptable project suitable for different contexts, such as hospitals,

schools, and charitable organizations, offering each participant a multisensory and therapeutic artistic experience.

HOW THE PROJECT WORKS

The project involves choosing a nature-related theme from those proposed by the artist, such as "The Hanbury

Gardens." The introduction takes place through an engaging educational explanation, enriched with relevant sounds

and natural noises to help participants immerse themselves in the topic.

Next, images related to the theme are presented, including photographs, illustrations, shapes, and cutouts of specific

details. A color palette is also introduced, carefully designed to harmonize with the chosen theme. Participants can

observe and select colors, images, and shapes from the displayed materials, using them to create an initial collage, a

sort of mood board that will serve as a visual and inspirational guide for the next phase of the project.

For the collage creation, a wide range of creative tools will be available, including pastels, chalk, and colored pencils,

as well as natural elements like leaves, pinecones, dried flowers, and other thematic materials.

Based on the created mood board, each participant is free to develop their artistic interpretation of the chosen theme,

such as their personal vision of The Hanbury Gardens. The final work can be created through collage, drawing, or

other artistic techniques.

The creative phase can extend over multiple lessons, depending on the group’s needs. At the end of the process, all

artworks will be individually exhibited or combined into a collective piece, thus creating an experience of sharing

and enhancing the work done.
